These guys really love their racing and take it very seriously.
Dave's high tech engineering background means that he is always looking to do things more efficiently in every department.
He tirelessly helped the 'Triple Jack' crew get ready for the 2007 St.Croix regatta.
He took the saddest looking dagger board on the planet and reshaped it into something more akin to a foil.
The reward was a berth on board the old tri for the regatta which he and Kim enjoyed immensely.
He's also sailed a fair few of the IC's including 'The Pearl' during last season's Nanny Cay races.
Welcome on board Dave and Kim, we are all wondering if 'The Pearl' will become 'Chippewa 3' or not!
The final handover of title will take place inside one of the caves at Norman Island with both Mike Masters and Dave in full costume next full moon.
